Garden maintenance in Paddington
Paddington is terrace country, and terrace gardens are their own discipline. The suburb sits about three kilometres east of the Sydney CBD on a high sandstone ridge, and the housing reflects it — narrow, tree-lined streets climbing and falling across hilly ground, lined with restored Victorian terraces. Most homes here are semi-detached, row or terrace houses, which means most of the gardens we work in aren't sprawling back lawns. They're small, private courtyards on narrow lots, and every plant in them is visible from somewhere in the house. That changes how you work. There's no margin for a rough job in a space you can see all of from the kitchen window.
Rob Gardening & Maintenance works across Paddington on a regular rotation, and we know the streets — the steep, stepped lots that drop down the hills, the courtyards tucked behind the lacework, the village pocket around Five Ways. Most of the work here is fine, careful hand work rather than big-kit mowing. A courtyard doesn't need a ride-on. It needs someone who'll shape the climbers properly, keep the small lawn sharp, and clear every prune on the way out instead of leaving a pile by the gate.
